IMATS 2016 Sydney

Today I received my professional photos from the competition I competed in November of last year. Was so amazing to see my creation in a beautifully captured photo. Was also a little weird seeing myself on stage accepting my winning trophy and not really remembering that moment as I was so scared and it all went so fast!! hahaha

Looking back now after some time has past, I really am quite proud of myself. Never in a million years did I ever think I would be accepted to compete out of hundreds/thousands of artists who entered. Still cant believe I took out first, especially when I was so disappointed in myself at the time they called brushes down.

It really does put it all into perspective.... You really do have to believe in yourself, be proud of yourself no matter what, don't be afraid to put yourself out there even if you could fail, and always remember you will never progress in your art/life/yourself if you don't TRY!
